The health of Uma Thomas, the injured MLA in Kerala has improved and she is responding well to the treatment. People across the nation have prayed for her well-being after the horrific accident in the stadium. As per the latest news on Uma Thomas’s health, the MLA has wished everyone a ‘Happy New Year’. The MLA had fallen from a deck in the stadium during an attempted Guinness World record attempt for a mass dance performance.
As per the doctors treating her,” Health of Uma Thomas is improving but she is still on ventilator support. The ventilator is put off periodically to let her breathe naturally. She has shown significant improvement in her lungs and arms. The medical board formed by the state government is also happy with the treatment given to the MLA Uma Thomas.”
Congress MLA Uma Thomas Falls in Kochi Stadium, Condition serious
In a tragic incident, Uma Thomas, a Congress MLA from Thrikkakara fell from a stadium in Kochi and sustained serious head injuries. The unfortunate incident happened in Kochi stadium.
Uma Thomas, the Thrikakara representative has sustained serious brain and spinal injuries and is in a serious condition. According to the sources, Uma Thomas fell from the gallery of Jawahar Lal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi.

Congress MLA has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Hospital sources have confirmed that the condition of Uma Thomas is serious and she is on ventilator support.
She reportedly fell from the gallery of the stadium and hit the concrete ground facedown.
“She is under treatment in the ICU…I have discussed this with the Chief Minister and the health minister and they will send the medical team. Experts from different departments will come and thereafter they will consult with the doctors here and decide what should be done.” Kerala minister P Rajeev informed.
